Die heute stillgelegte und marode Field Station auf dem Teufelsberg (Mont Klamotte) in Berlin wurde hauptsächlich von der NSA betrieben, die als Teil des weltweiten Spionagenetzes ECHELON diente. Nach der deutschen Wiedervereinigung wurden die elektronischen Einrichtungen der Anlage entfernt, da diese nach dem Zusammenbruch der Sowjetunion praktisch nutzlos geworden waren.
